Miesha Theresa Tate is an American mixed martial artist. Her birth date was August 18th, 1986. She is currently a participant in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and was the former UFC Women's Bantamweight champion. Tate previously competed in Strikeforce where she was a Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight Champion. Tate was also vice-president for ONE Championship. She is currently ranked number 10 in the UFC women's bantamweight rankings, as of October 3 2022.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Tate was born to Michelle Tate in Tacoma (Seattle), Washington. She was raised by Robert Schmidt and Michelle. Tate was a boy in her youth and often played in the playgrounds with other boys.
